How do Beko inline filters work? Watch the video to find out.
Reasons To Use Beko Filters
Depending on the type of filtration required and the element required, the direction of flow through the filter body differs. Therefore, sizing is of utmost importance to avoid in-line pressure drops.
Clearpoint inline filters by Beko use cutting edge technology.
- Flow Optimization results in firstly, low pressure drop across the element and secondly, lower operating costs.
- Corrosion Protected Housing provides longer life in harsh environments. Thus providing longer intervals between replacement.
- Safe Filtration provides a critical component of providing the required quality demanded in specific applications.
- Improves Compressed Air to protect manufacturing process as well as finished product.
- Validated by Independent IUTA Institute
The level of precision engineering will allow extremely high separation. Therefore, this makes it possible to fit every compressed air system.
Filter Types and Their Use
Although it would seem counterintuitive, the use of a coalescing filter in all systems is paramount. Firstly, a coalescing filter will remove suspended aerosol droplets down to the size of the filter as specified in microns. Secondly, a coalescing filter will remove aerosols ingested by an oilless or “dry” screw compressor. No filtration is 100% effective. Therefore, contaminants present in the ambient atmosphere pass the filter. Therefore, a coalescing filter must be installed and maintained in any compressed air system.
A particulate filter is a must in any system. Firstly, the particulate filter protects against airborne dirt and grit that passes the compressor inlet filter. Again, no filter is 100% efficient, therefore, some contamination is inevitable. Secondly the particulate filter will protect components such as a refrigerated or desiccant dryer against pipe scale or rust from an improperly maintained receiver.
Activated charcoal filters will firstly remove vapors that cause odors, taste. Secondly, hydrocarbon vapors detected by in-line instrumentation are removed. Maintenance of these filters is critical. A Delta P (Pressure Differential) gauge is of no use. These filters do not become clogged by particulate matter, therefore, there is no pressure change across the element. Element change is performed on a time-in-use cycle.
